Ruger, Model Gunsite Scout, 308 WIN Cal., MFG. 2014, SN: 680-31137, Bolt Action Rifle, 19'' Tapered round barrel, including the flash hider. To develop the Gunsite Scout, Ruger worked closely with Gunsite Training Center Academy in the development of the rifle, in order to meet the criteria of the modern scout rifle. These little rifles are fairly rare & becoming collectible, as they were a distributor exclusive limited supply run. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip laminated stock is excellent, with a few minor scrapes or light contusions. The factory metal finishes rate 95% overall. Three-position safety. The receiver has integral scope rails, with a receiver mounted aperture sight, with protective wings. The barrel carries a picatinny rail mounted Leupold FX-II 2.5X28mm Scout scope on quick lever release rings & a non-glare, protected blade front sight. Buttstock carries the factory solid recoil pad, with 3 factory 1/2'' spacers, current length LOP of 14 1/4''. Stock carries factory sling studs. Detachable Ruger magazine. A unique high quality, bolt action sporting rifle, with collectability. FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
