Custom Built Rifle, Built from Toyo Kogyo Arsenal Japan under Kokura Supervision Model Type 99 Action, CAL: 257 Roberts, MFG: 1939-45 Action, SN: 55247 (Series block 30), Bolt Action Rifle, 25 3/4'' Round barrel. The custom cheeked & capped pistol grip Monte Carlo style wood stock is very good, but the high gloss finish has sustained heat damage, spider webbing & texturing. Ebony forend tip. There are a few minor scrapes & scuffs, however the finish has been mostly removed on the top of the wrist, in addition to the aforementioned finish damage. The rifle would benefit from a quality stock refinishing. The metal blue finish rates 95% overall. Flaig Ace custom barrel. The receiver carries scope block for future scope mounting, with no open sight provisions on the barrel. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. Jeweled extractor bar on bolt. A quality customized military action to hunting rifle build. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 500
