Marlin, Model 27, CAL: 25-20, MFG: 1910-11, SN: None, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered octagon barrel. A fairly rare rifle with production spanning just two years. The original straight grip wood stocks are fair. The stock has a 1''x1/4'' missing chip at the right side top of wrist, while the forend has 9 pins to stabilize a nearly full length crack to the right side & a 1''x1/4'' missing chip on the right side of forend. The original metal blue finish has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina & remnants of blue in more protected areas. Bore is very good. The barrel carries a Marbles adjustable rear & elongated blade front sights. Stock carries the original crescent metal buttplate & the trademark bullseye in belly of the stock.
