Remington, Model 8, .35 Rem Cal, MFG. 1908, SN: 11673, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are very good, with the stock having been cleaned, lightly sanded & reoiled. There are minor scratches & handling marks remaining, along with some larger contusions & scrapes. The forend also displays numerous minor scratches & contusions, with corners chips at the back end & a sliver of missing wood along the left edge. The original metal blue finish rates 85% on the barrel & 75% on the receiver, with even wear loss or thinning from honest use. Bore is excellent, bright & clean. The barrel carries a standard adjustable rear & blade front sights. The stock carries a serrated & bottom tang, crescent metal buttplate. 4 round fixed magazine, with some contusion dents on the belly. Tight action. An overall nice looking & great shooting condition rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
