Winchester, Model 1903, Marked .22 Cal. Automatic (.22 WIN Auto), MFG. 1913, SN: 84845, Semi-Auto Action Rifle, 20'' round barrel. 10 shot tubular mag in the stock. The original wood stocks are good & solid. The finish has thinned from use at the wrist & forearm. There are a number of minor to small scrapes, scratches & contusions, with two 1'' cracks at the toe of stock & a 3'' scratch at the bottom of the wrist that appears to be just a shallow scratch & not a crack. The metal finish on the barrel rates 75%, while the receiver has almost fully worn gun metal gray, with remnants of original blue remaining in protected areas & a thin brown patina developing. These is some spotty small areas of light pitting. Bore is very good. Rifle carries a Lyman flip-up tang sight, a blank filled rear dovetail & the original small blade front sight. Original metal buttplate. A well used, but honest old gun, that is ready for more action. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 700
