Winchester, Model 90, .22 LONG RIFLE Cal., MFG: 1925 SN: 702155, Slide Action Pump, 24'' Tapered octagon barrel. The L.R, only caliber is the rarest & most desired caliber amongst collectors as only 10% of total production was this caliber. The L.R. caliber was added in the mod 90 line-up in 1919. The original wood stocks are very good, as cleaned, lightly sanded & refinished. There are minor handling marks, scratches & light contusions to the finish. The metal finish on the barrel is a nearly full coverage mix of original blue & a brown patina, while the receiver & mag tube are mostly gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina. Bore is good, with cleaned roughness amongst thinned rifling. Barrel carries the original front & rear sights. Factory crescent steel buttplate. The tang screws appear to be replacements. A nice example of a single caliber mod 90. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
