Marlin, Model 97, .22 S. L. LR Cal., MFG. 1910, SN: 411804, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel, The original wood stocks are very good, as having been sanded & nicely refinished. There are several minor contusions, scraps & scuffs to the very nice high gloss finish. The metal sits proud to the wood along the edges of the tangs & receiver. The metal on the barrel & tube has worn mostly gun metal gray, with a thin spotty brown patina. The case-hardened receiver & lever has also faded to gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina, Bore is very good. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & low profile blade front sights. The stock carries a Marlin checkered plastic buttplate. Tight smooth action. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
