Ed Parker, Hammer Double, CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1880's-1900's, SN: 613, Break Action SxS, Choke: Full/Mod, 30'' Damascus barrels. The side plates are marked ''ED PARKER'' & the barrel rib is marked ''ED PARKER LONDON FINE DAMASCUS''. British proofs on the water table. The original checkered round knob wood stocks are very good & solid, having been sanded & refinished. There are a few small grain cracks coming off the side plates/upper tang, edge chips, smoothed contusions, scrapes & dings throughout. The forend ebony tip is missing. The fingerprint Damascus pattern on the barrels is visible & the browned finish has worn to an uneven mix of remaining finish & metal gray. The receiver has also fully worn to metal gray & toned to a brown patina. The receiver, trigger guard, side plates, break lever & forend release lever all display simple ornamental hand engraving. Bores are poor, dark & pitted. The solid matted rib holds a front bead. Stock has a worn horn buttplate. Double triggers. There is a good amount of play in the break lever. You can easily slide it to the open or closed position without any tension. There is also play between the barrels & receiver, they don't lock up tight. We recommend this shotgun be inspected by a licensed gunsmith before use. SOLD AS IS NO RETURNS. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
