EXCELLENT & CASED, Parker/Winchester Reproduction 2 -Barrel Set, Model DHE, CAL: 28GA, MFG: 1983-88, SN: 28-01296, Break Action SxS, 26'' & 28'' Barrels. There were approximately 3500 DHE grade 28GA shotguns produced in the six year span these were produced. These models were fabricated in Japan to original Parker specifications & the reproduction was so authentic that most parts are interchangeable with the late Parkers made by Remington in Ilion, NY. The original checkered straight grip, high grade English Walnut stock & splinter forend are excellent & near mint condition. The factory oil finish is excellent overall. The stock displays an attractive rippled grain patter & has an inlaid gold oval inscription plate in the belly of the stock. The factory blued finish on the barrels rates 99%+. The case-hardened frame displays excellent case-colors. The receiver exhibits beautiful scroll engraving with the familiar Parker Bros dog game scene on both sides & a group of pheasants on the bottom. The trigger guard, forend release lever, break lever & skeleton buttplate also have similar engravings. Bores on both barrels are excellent & minty. The solid matted rib on both barrels carry a gold bead. Stock has a skeleton buttplate with checkered butt. This beautiful set comes in the factory leather bound Parker trunk case, with green interior & canvas case cover. Included in the case is the 2nd barrel & case key.
