Description

Robert Hughes & Sons, Hammerless, CAL: 12GA, MFG: early 1900's, SN: 37092, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 30'' barrels. This shotgun has been fully refinished. The maker & importer are marked on the barrel. The original checkered round knob wood stocks are very good & solid. There are a couple very minor cracks coming off the back of the tang, alongside other smoothed contusions, scrapes & dings. There is a blank shield nameplate inlaid in the belly of the stock. The blued finish on the barrel rates 95% & the receiver has mostly worn to metal gray, with consistent light spotting & some remnants of re-blue ahead of the trigger guard. Bores are good, with some areas of roughness & pitting. The solid rib holds a front bead. Stock has a grooved buttplate. Double triggers. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
