Meriden Fire Arms Co.?, Single Break Shotgun, CAL: 10GA, MFG: circa 1902, SN: 1313, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 36'' barrel. The checkered round knob wood stocks are excellent. The original finish is thinning & flaking. There are some nicks & dings. The twisted steel barrel has fully toned to a dark plum/brown patina. The case-hardened receiver has also worn to a similar tone, with edges worn to metal gray. There are remnants of case-colors under the break lever. Bore is fair, consistently rough, with scarring & intermittent pitting. Barrel holds a single front bead. Stock has a grooved plastic buttplate marked Meriden, Conn. Mechanical operation appears to function properly. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
