A. Uberti Italy, M1858 New Army Target Carbine, Cal: .44, MFG: 2022, S/N: D94133, Percussion revolving rifle, No.11 caps, 18'' octagon barrel.
CONDITION: The straight wrist walnut buttstock is excellent with only a few minor scuffs from handling. Brass trigger guard that extends to a semi-pistol grip. The deep blue metal finish rates 99%. The hammer retains the majority of its case-hardened finish. The upper wrist tang holds the S/N, MFG date & Logo. The cylinder, right side of the barrel & frame have Italian proofs. The bottom of the barrel, under the loading lever has caliber & MFG info. The bore is excellent. It's bright & shiny with minimal firing wear. The barrel holds a tall blade front sight in a dovetail, with a elevation adjustable square notch leaf sight in a dovetail. The buttstock carries a brass crescent moon buttplate. The rifle has no sling provisions. An excellent, like new, handy black powder revolving carbine. CAUTION: Don't put your hand in front of the cylinder when firing, there is no shield to block the gas & debris coming from the cylinder gap. Muzzleloader. No FFL Req - Value: 400 to 700
