Thompson Center Arms, Hawken Rifle, Cal: .54, MFG: Modern, S/N: 19097, Percussion Muzzleloading rifle, No.11 caps, 26 7/8'' octagon barrel.
CONDITION: The straight wrist walnut half-stock is excellent with only a few minor nicks & scuffs from handling. Black metal trigger guard that extends as a semi-pistol grip. The blued metal finish rates 98% overall with a few light scuffs & spots of wear near the muzzle. The lock plate & hammer retain 99% of its beautiful case-hardened finish & have ornate engravings. Right side of the barrel has MFG & caliber Information, right side holds the S/N. The bore is excellent. Bright & shiny with little visible wear. The barrel holds a white beaded blade front sight in a dovetail, barrel tang holds a windage & elevation adjustable zero, aperture rear sight. The stock carries a metal buttplate. The rifle has no sling provision. Rifle comes with a double ended, wooden ramrod. Double set triggers, front trigger can fire set & un-set. Mechanical function is solid. A like new beautiful muzzleloader that would make a excellent shooter or hunting rifle. Muzzleloader, No FFL Req - Value: 250 to 500
