Universal, M1 Carbine, Cal: .30 Carbine, MFG: 1961-84, S/N: 447079, Semi-auto rifle, 18'' barrel.
CONDITION: The semi-pistol grip wood stock is excellent with only superficial nicks, & scratches. Metal ''cheese grater'' upper handguard. The blued metal finish rates 98% overall. The receiver band is marked ''UNIVERSAL'', ''HIALEAH FLA'', ''CAL .30 M1'', & the patent number. The Rear of the receiver is marked with the S/N. The bore is excellent. Bright & shiny with little no visible wear. Has machining marks on the rifling from when it was made. The barrel holds a wide blade front sight with protective ears.. The rear of the receiver holds a adjustable aperture rear sight marked out to 300 yards. The stock carries a steel buttplate, has finish wear around edges. Rifle has the front sling loops with the rear well. Rifle does not come with a mag. Mechanical function appears solid. A nice commercial production M1 carbine. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 500 to 1000
