Colt, Civil War Centennial Model, CAL: 22 Short, MFG: 1961, SN: 3272W, Single Shot Pistol, 6 3/4'' Barrel. The wood grips are excellent, solid with minimal wear. The metal holds a painted finish that is very good overall with some wear from use. Most of the wear is concentrated on the muzzle & cylinder. There is some handling wear concentrated on the backstrap & front strap of the grip. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. This firearm is not a revolver but disassembles similar to a Colt 1860 (remove the barrel wedge, remove the barrel, then remove the cylinder). Once disassembled you can load one 22 short cartridge into the single chamber on the cylinder & reassemble to fire in single action. A small fixed black front sight is integral to the barrel, a rear sight notch is cut into the hammer. Comes with a magazine. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 250 to 500
