Smith & Wesson, .455 Mark II Hand Ejector 2nd Model (Canadian Issue), CAL: .455 Webley, MFG: 1915-17, SN: 65805, DA/SA Revolver, 6 1/2'' Barrel. The grips appear to be antler or bone, they are very good, near excellent. The grips are solid & have very little age soiling but the left grip panel has a chunk on the bottom that appears to have been broken off at some point & glued back on. The majority of the metal holds a re-blued finish that covers up speckled clean shallow pitting throughout. The finish has retained nearly full coverage & rates approximately 95%. The plumb finish on the cylinder covers some shallow pitting & small dings. All of the Smith & Wesson factory markings around the gun are visible & legible. Various proofs & military markings around the gun (Including a Canadian arrow & other Canadian military markings) have thinned but are still visible. Bore is very good, the rifling is slightly thinned but very pronounced & the bore is fairly bright with a couple of small pits in the bore mostly concentrated near the muzzle. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a fixed front sight, a rear sight notch is cut into the top of the frame. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
