Smith & Wesson, Model 642-1 Airweight, CAL: 38 SPL (+P), MFG: Modern, SN: CEU7827, DAO Revolver, 2'' Barrel. The factory checkered rubber grips are excellent, solid with minimal wear. The barrel has a stainless finish & the frame is an alloy with a very light gray finish. The stainless is excellent with minimal wear. The frame is very good & has some surface erosion, most of the erosion is concentrated on the right side of the frame near the trigger guard. All of the standard markings around the gun are crisp. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a serrated fixed front ramp sight. A rear sight notch is cut into the top of the frame. The sight picture is a white rear notch & a gray front sight. Comes in the serially matched factory hard plastic case with an owners manual & other related paperwork. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 600
