BOXED Smith & Wesson, Model 36, CAL: 38 SPL, MFG: 1982, SN: 1J07693, DA/SA Revolver, 2'' Barrel. The factory checkered wood grips with ''S&W'' medallions are excellent, solid with slightly worn checkering. The metal holds a nickeled finish. The finish is excellent with light use wear including a drag line, some wear near the muzzle & some wear on the front strap & backstrap of the grip. The case coloring on the trigger & hammer is very good, slightly faded. All of the standard markings around the gun are crisp. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a serrated fixed front ramp sight with some red paint or finger nail polish. A rear sight notch is cut into the top of the frame. Comes in a non-serially matching box that is correct to the make, model, & era with some related paperwork & wax paper. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 600
