The High Standard MFG. Co., Model A, CAL: 22LR, MFG: 1940, SN: 83850, Semi Auto Pistol, 6 3/4'' Barrel. The factory checkered wood grips are in very good condition, solid with substantial handling wear. The blued finish on the gun rates approximately 75% with substantial handling & holster wear. There is very little blue on the front strap & backstrap of the grip. There are some scratches, dings, & rust speckling throughout. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The barrel holds a fixed black front sight, the slide holds a windage & elevation adjustable rear sight. Comes with a magazine.
