RARE Smith & Wesson, 4006 ''Shorty Forty'', CAL: 40 S&W, MFG: 1992-95, SN: PCS0733, DA/SA Semi Auto Pistol, 3 1/2'' Barrel. The factory checkered plastic grips are excellent with minimal wear. The stainless slide & anodized aluminum frame are excellent with minimal wear from handling or use. The slide has several small, shallow scratches from reassembly. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The action feels tuned & the parts fitment looks & feels excellent. These guns were limited production performance center firearms, approximately 1,500 of which were made. A lot of effort went into the hand fit parts of these custom shop guns. The slide holds fixed 3 dot white combat sights set in dovetail cuts. Comes with a magazine. FFL Req. - Value: 1200 to 1800
