Remington, Model 51, CAL: 380 ACP, MFG: 1919, SN: PA118, Semi Auto Pistol, 3 1/4'' Barrel. The factory checkered plastic grips are very good, near excellent, solid with some small surface scratches throughout as well as some worn checkering from handling. The blued finish on the frame rates approximately 70% with some clean pitting, concentrated handling wear & edge wear. The blue on the front strap has worn thin & toned to a mix of gun metal grey original blue & brown patina. The slide has clean pitting throughout & seems to have been buffed. The process of buffing the slide has left behind very little original blue & a clear scratch pattern. Bore is fair to good, it has darkened with rifling that is very thin but still pronounced. There is clean pitting throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. Rudimentary all black sights are integral to the slide, The top of the slide is serrated to reduce glare. Comes with a correct reproduction remington model 51 box with some reproduction paperwork & no magazine. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 600
