Spreewerk, P38, CAL: 9mm, MFG: Jan. 1943, SN: 8599, DA/SA Semi Auto Pistol, 5'' Barrel. The black plastic grips are very good, near excellent, solid with some small scratches & dings throughout. The metal holds what appears to be a professionally re-blued finish. The blue on the gun rates approximately 98% with minimal wear. The right side of the slide has two German Army Waffenamts with an Iron Eagle between them, all marks on the gun are still visible & legible despite being thinned from the buffing during the re-blue process. Bore is fair to good, The rifling is strong but the bore has darkened substantially with clean, light pitting throughout. Mechanically solid, seems to function well. The gun does have some raddle that seems to come from the ejector, safety hammer lowering lever, & firing pin lock lifter. This is a common occurrence with this model of firearm & does not seem to affect the functionality of the firearm in any way. A fixed all black front sight is set in a dovetail cut on the barrel, a fixed all black rear sight is set in dovetail cut on the slide. Comes with an 8 round magazine.
