FANTASTIC Winchester, Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, 3rd model, .32 WCF Cal., MFG: 1917, SN: 718416, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are excellent & solid, having been cleaned, possibly lightly sanded & re-oiled. The wood has a nice aged or darkened rich chocolate brown appearance. There are a few minor handling marks & contusions. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & mag rates 85% overall. The receiver has worn mostly gun metal gray, with original blue remaining on the back half the receiver due to the protection of the side panels. Fitted with a flip-up ladder rear & box carbine front sights. Bore is very good, with some speckled roughness amongst strong rifling. Metal carbine butt. Original saddle ring. Very smooth tight action. With just over 720,000 Model 1873 guns produced, this is a very late production carbine. An excellent & desirable Model 1873 SRC.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 9000 to 13000
