Winchester, Model 70, CAL: 220 SWIFT, MFG: 1957, SN: 430040, Bolt Action Rifle, 27'' barrel. The original & checkered flat pistol grip Monte Carlo stock is excellent & solid, with contusions, scrapes & some small edge chipping along edge of buttplate. The original finish has thinned or worn in areas, with some flaking & dullness. The bottom of the pistol grip has ''0898'' stamped on it. The metal finish rates 95% overall, with most of the wear found at the muzzle & floorplate. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver carries scope mount blocks, while the barrel has a blank filled rear dovetail & ramp elevated blade front sight. Stock carries a checkered metal buttplate. Sling loops present. Trigger shoe added to original trigger. Matching SN bolt. This is one of the more desirable small bore calibers within the Pre-64 model 70's. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1200 to 2400
