Sporterized, Remington, Model 1903, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1941, SN: 3339471, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. The original Type ''C'' semi-pistol grip wood stock, with finger groove is excellent, having been lightly sanded & refinished. There is a 1''x1/4'' wood splice repair in front of the bolt handle notch. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 97% & the receiver's original military finish has worn to a flat gun metal grey, with a thin brown patina. There is a # etched into the left side of the receiver that reads ''KU-NO-*D-M563D5''. Original modified barrel band. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds a Weaver K2.5 scope, held by a Redfield base. No open sight provisions. Checkered metal trapdoor buttplate. Sling loops. A nicely sporterized 1903. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 30 to 600
