Custom Rifle, Springfield, Model 1903 Action, CAL: 250 SAV, MFG: 1907 (Receiver), SN: 326557, Bolt Action Rifle, 18 3/4'' Custom barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, as having been reshaped, sanded, & refinished. The stock displays an attractive vine & leaf carved motif. There are a couple of inlayed dowels, one on the left side of the grip & one below the safety & bolt that goes through the stock. There are a couple of filled spots, one on the bottom of the pistol grip & at the forend tip. The military style gray metal finish is excellent, rating 97%. Bore is very good, with solid rifling & intermittent spotting. The receiver holds a Simmons Wide Angle 44 Mag 3-10x44 scope. No open sight provisions. Checkered metal trapdoor buttplate. Sling loops. An attractive & nicely reworked 1903 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
