RARE Winchester, Model 52C SPORTER, .22 LR. Cal., MFG. 1955 SN: 79967C, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' barrel, Rarest amongst the 52 Sporters. The factory, checkered & metal capped pistol grip wood stock is excellent & original. It has a Monte Carlo stock, with raised cheek, black tipped forend & fitted with sling provisions. The original finish is excellent, but does have few minor scratches or tiny contusions. The factory metal blue finish is 99%. Produced with the very rare feature of a ''Micro Motion'' trigger, with two fine adjusting screws in front of the trigger guard marked ''O.T.'' & ''PULL''. Bore is excellent. Mounted with a Lyman adjustable receiver sight, no rear barrel sight provision & hooded front ramp sight. Original checkered metal buttplate. Original Winchester marked magazine. Comes with the original detachable sling attachments in the provisions. Very limited production, with only 500 to 1000 produced.
