Winchester, Model 68, Standard 1st Issue, CAL: .22 WRF, MFG: 1934-46, SN: NSN, Take-down Bolt Action Rifle, 27 1/8'' barrel. This rifle has been fully professionally restored to factory standards. The original early flat pistol grip wood stock, with slim finger groove forend is excellent, displaying minor contusions & scrapes to the finish. The metal blue finish rates 99% overall, with very minor handling marks. Bore is excellent, with crisp rifling. The barrel holds a rare disc adjusting rear peep sight, with aperture disc & a ramp elevated hooded blade front sight. Stock carries a Winchester checkered black plastic buttplate. An excellent example of a 68. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
