Marlin, Model 81-DL, CAL: 22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1945-57, SN: NSN, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 7/8'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid, with numerous light scratches & scrapes. The original finish has worn thin & flaking in most areas. The metal blue finish on the barrel has worn mostly gun metal grey, with remnants of blue remaining in protected areas. The receiver & mag tube retain 70% of blue, with areas worn to metal grey. Bore is very good, with clean rifling, but with a couple of dark thin rings towards the muzzle. The receiver carries a Bushnell Sportview 4x15mm scope held by a side mounted scope base & the receiver sight base. The barrel holds a blank filled rear dovetail & ramp elevated blade front sight. Grooved plastic buttplate. Sling swivels. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 250
