American Gun Company, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1888-95, SN: 124690, Break Action Hammer SxS Shotgun, Choke: F/F, 32'' Damascus barrels, with solid matted rib. Made by Crescent Arms out of Norwich Connecticut & sold under the name American Gun Co. The checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good, displaying several scratches, scrapes & contusions to the original finish. The metal finish on the barrels & receiver has toned fully to a brown patina. The receiver, side plates, hammers & triggerguard all have decorative hand engraving. Bores are good. The solid, matted rib holds a single front bead. Buttstock carries a hardened vintage recoil pad . LOP: 14 1/4'' over pad. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 400
