Manhattan Arms Company, CAL: 16 GA, MFG: 1880-95, SN: 13207, Break Action Hammer SxS Shotgun, Choke: F/MOD, 28'' Twist barrels, with solid matted rib. Manhattan Arms Company was a trade name used on shotguns by both Neumann Freres & Company & F. Dumoulin & Company both of Liege Belgium in the period circa 1880-1914. The checkered & flat pistol grip wood stocks are very good, displaying a several minor scratches, scrapes & contusions to the original finish. The left side of stock is stamped ''MONTANA ARMORY BOZEMAN MONT.'' There is a silver shield inlaid in the flat of the pistol grip. The metal finish on the barrels has worn gun metal gray, with some brown spots. The case-hardened receiver & break lever display fading case-colors in protected areas. The left side hammer & both nipples are missing. Serial number or partial # is stamped on the barrel, water table & inside of forend. Bores are excellent. The solid, matted rib holds a single front bead. Buttstock carries the original metal buttplate. LOP: 13 3/4''. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 150 to 300
