J.P Sauer & Sohn, Sidelock Double Barrel Shotgun, CAL: 16GA, MFG: N/A, SN: 46223, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 29 1/8'' barrels. The checkered & cheeked straight grip wood stock, with horn finger rest is excellent, having been lightly sanded & refinished. There are minor handling marks & scuffs to the finish. The restored metal blue finish on the barrels rates 95%, with intermittent cleaned pitting. The receiver is case-hardened, fully toned to metal grey, with shadowing remaining from case-colors & intermittent pitting. Bores are excellent, slightly rough. The solid, matted rib holds an ivory front bead. Checkered plastic buttplate. Double triggers. Front sling loop present, empty rear sling hole. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2500
