Winchester, Model 1897 Take-Down, CAL: 16 GA, MFG: 1907, SN: 363522, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: Full, 28'' barrel. The original pistol grip stock & corncob forend are good & solid. The stocks have small scrapes, gouges & contusions to the thinning original finish. The stock has two 1'' stress cracks at the wrist & a couple of 2'' cracks at the buttend.. The left side of the stock ha ''L20452789'' carved into it. The metal finish has worn to a mix of gun metal gray & a rust brown patina, with spotting & light pitting. Bore is fair, with large spots of rust pitting. Barrel holds a single front bead. Stock carries a poor fitting ventilated recoil pad, which is loose. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
