Ithaca, Model 37R (Solid Rib), CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1940, SN: 29389, Pump Action Shotgun, Choke: Full, 2 3/4'', 30'' barrel. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good. They carry the original finish with several scrapes, scratches & dings, & one large finish scrape to the left side which runs the length of the stock. The original metal blue finish rates 60% overall, with some spotting & speckled loss. Receiver has hunting scenes on each side. Bore is excellent. The solid rib barrel holds an ivory mid bead & a gold tone front bead. Buttstock carries a period Hawkins ventilated recoil pad. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 800
