Ward's Western Field, Model 04M 218A, CAL: 410GA, MFG: N/A, SN: NSN, Bolt Action Shotgun, 24'' threaded barrel w/choke. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, having been refinished long ago. There are numerous light scrapes & a few dings to the worn & thinning refinish. The metal blue finish has worn to 70% coverage of a mix of remaining original blue & brown patina, with areas worn to a gun metal grey. Bore is very good & bright. The barrel holds a single front bead. Grooved plastic buttplate. Bolt handle has been replaced. The bolt can be a bit sticky & intermittently needs to have the back knob rotated in order for the bolt to close. May need some cleaning, adjustment or repair. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 250
