Cal Price, Muzzleloader, CAL: 40, MFG: N/A, SN: N/A, Black Powder Muzzleloader, 32'' octagon barrel. This gun was made by Cal Price of Orange, Texas. According to the consigner, he was a well known black powder gun maker of his era. The cheeked & straight grip wood stock is excellent. There are contusions, scrapes & dings to the finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel has toned to a brown patina, with metal grey undertones. The receiver is blued, rating 80%, with spotting toned to a brown patina. Bore is fair, with pitting amongst proud rifling. The barrel holds a ''KING'' rear sight & flip-up globe front sight. Crescent brass buttplate & brass hardware. Cleaning rod present. Double set triggers. Black Powder, No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 900
