Tower, Model: 1797 India pattern Brown Bess, Cal: .75, MFG: 1797-1812, S/N: N/A, Flintlock muzzleloader, 39'' barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is very good with scratches, nicks, ding, dents & wear from use/age, buttplate is proud to wood at toe. The metal has toned to a even brown patina. Lock plate is marked, ''TOWER'', crown over ''GR'', & crown proof marks, top of barrel is marked, crown over ''GR'' over downward facing arrow, Faint proof mark. Bore is good, bright with some roughness/light pitting, square block front sight, brass buttplate, bottom sling swivels, has ram rod, comes with bayonet. A rare & old piece that is still in good shape for its age. Antique/muzzleloader No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 1000
