Springfield, Model: 1861, Cal: .58, MFG: 1862, S/N: N/A, Percussion muzzleloader, 40'' round barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is very good with scratches, nicks, dings, dents, chips & wear from use/age. The metal has toned to a even brown patina with gray showing in areas. Lock plate is marked, ''1862'', ''U.S.'', ''SPRINGFIELD'', left side of barrel is marked, ''V'', over ''P'', over eagle. Bore is very good. Barleycorn front sight, three position U-notch leaf rear sight. Metal buttplate with brown patina & marked, ''US'' on upper tang, bottom sling swivels, has ramrod. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
