Winchester. Model: 1917. Cal: 30-06. MFG: 1917. S/N: 26154. Bolt action Rifle. 27'' Barrel. The semi Pistol grip wooden stock is very good with scratches, dents, dings, & wear from use/age, faint cartouche on bottom of stock at wrist, ''O.G.E'' in box cartouche on left side of stock above trigger, ''W'' marked on end of wood in front of bayonet lug. The metal finish rates 80% overall with spots of light wear & thinned bluing. Left side of receiver is marked with Flaming bomb & Star inside a circle stamp, Top of receiver is marked ''U.S.'', ''MODEL OF 1917'', ''WINCHESTER'' & S/N, end of barrel is marked ''W'', flaming bomb, ''3-17''. Bore is good, roughness with strong rifling. Blade Front sight with protective wings, aperture ladder rear sight marked 2 to 16. Metal trapdoor buttplate, worn finish, brown patina, & sticker. Bottom sling swivels. FFL Or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
