Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre (FN), Model: 1950 Short rifle, Cal: 30-06, MFG: 1952, S/N: 21602, Bolt action rifle, 23'' Barrel. The original semi pistol grip wood stock is very good with scratches, dings, dents & wear from use & age, S/N marked on right side of stock above recoil lug, discolored replaced upper handguard. The black stoving over parkerized metal finish rates 25% with most of the black paint gone showing parkerized finish underneath. Left side of receiver is marked, ''FAB.NAT. D'ARMES DE GUERRE'', ''HERSTAL-BELGIQUE'', & proof marks, top of receiver is marked, crown over ''B'', ''ABL'', ''1952'', right side of receiver is marked with S/N, S/N Matched Bolt. Bore is very good, bright & shiny with strong rifling, one spot of roughness near muzzle. Barleycorn front sight, V-notch tangent rear sight marked 1 to 19. Metal grooved buttplate worn gray & with rust. Bottom sling swivels. FFL Or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
