Kokura Arsenal. Model: Type 99 last ditch. CAL: 7.7x58mm. MFG:1939-45. S/N:32481, serial block 25. Bolt Action Rifle. 25 3/4'' barrel. The semi-pistol grip wooden stock is very good with light scratches/dings/ nicks & wear from use, 1/2'' hairline crack on rear of the upper handguard, tightly repaired crack that runs the length of upper handguard, stock appears to have been duffle cut underneath rear barrel band, ''KO 25'' written on left side of stock in white chalk. The metal finish rates 95% on the barrel & 90% on the receiver, small spots of surface rust. Left side of receiver is marked with S/N & Arsenal stamp, top front of receiver is marked with a chrysanthemum that has been x-ed out & ''TYPE 99'' in Japanese, S/N matched Bolt. Bore is very good, bright with lightly worn rifling. Front barleycorn sight, rear fixed aperture sight. Military Wooden buttplate secured with three nails. Side sling swivels. A good example of a last ditch Arisaka. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
