Description

Philip Webley & Son, Model No.1 ''British Bulldog'', CAL: 442 Webley, MFG: 1870's-80's, SN: N/A, Double Action Revolver, 2 1/2'' barrel. The checkered bird head wood grips are excellent. There are minor handling marks, with slightly worn checkering. The nickel finish rates 80% overall, with areas worn to metal grey & toned to a brown patina. Bore is good, with consistent roughness. The barrel holds a small half-moon blade front sight. The British Bull Dog is a scaled-down version of Webley's Royal Irish Constabulary Model. During the 1870's & 80's, it was one of the most popular double-actions in Europe & America. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
