Colt, Automatic (1908 Hammerless), CAL: .25, MFG: 1921, SN: 286641, Semi Auto Pistol, 2'' barrel. The left side of the slide is marked ''COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.'' & ''PAT'D/AUG. 25, 1897, APR. 20, 1897, DEC. 22, 1903 JAN. 25, 1910'' & the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. The serial number is marked on the left side of the frame. The right side of the slide is marked ''COLT AUTOMATIC /CALIBRE 25'' under of the ejection port. The original, Colt logo checkered plastic grips are excellent. The original metal blue finish rates 80% overall, with areas of wear toned to a brown patina. The case-hardened trigger, grip safety & thumb safety all retain case-colors. Bore is excellent, with roughness. The grooved, matted rib holds factory fixed sights. A nice original Colt Automatic. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
