RARE LAR, Model GRIZZLY MARK 1, Blued, CAL:10 MM AUTO, MFG: 1983-99, SN: A002306, Semi-Auto Pistol, 6 1/2'' barrel, which extends 1'' beyond the slide. The LAR Grizzly pistol was a modified Colt M1911 style pistol with oversize components designed to handle larger, more powerful cartridges than could be used in the standard size 1911 pistol. All guns were hand fitted & capable of high accuracy, with approximately 15,000 guns produced in four versions capable of firing six different cartridges. Other sources claim most SN observed were in the 6,000 & under range, & therefore less than 7000 were actually produced in all configurations. The factory rubber grips are excellent. The factory blued finish rates 99%. Bore is excellent. Original sights. Extended slide catch & extended ambidextrous thumb safety. Comes in a hard case. FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
