Description

Waffenfabrik Steyr, Model Roth Steyr 1907, CAL: 8X19mm, MFG: 1908, SN:691, Semi-Auto Pistol, 5'' barrel. An unusual style of lock breech pistol that was issued to the Austro-Hungarian Army Cavalry during World War I. An early SN & variation as several modifications & variants were produced amongst the approximate 99,000 produced. The grooved hardwood grips are excellent, displaying some minor blemishes. The arsenal metal blue finish rates 80%, but with rust speckling & minor pitting. Bore is very good. Fixed sights. Unit disk on right grip is blank. A very unique & rarely encountered pistol in the U.S.. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
