Winchester, Model 1873, 3rd Variation, Marked .32 W.C.F. Cal., MFG: 1889, SN: 322835B, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stock & forend are very good, having an added layer of finish over the original finish. There are several small contusions & minor scratches or scrapes. The metal blue finish has worn away to mostly gun metal gray, with a thin layer of brown patina. Bore is fair, appears dark, with pitting & roughness amongst thin rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & pinched silver blade front sight. Stock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. Dust cover needs to be manually pulled to the rear for the lever to close & the rifle to fire. The rifle needs to visit a gunsmith for adjustment or repair before use. Comes with a Cody Winchester Factory Records Letter, which confirms dates & configuration. A solid & antique 1873, with a nice appearance. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
