Winchester, Model 1892, CAL: 38 WCF, MFG: 1904, SN: 32349, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' Octagon barrel. Button mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with wonderful & unusual grain, particularly on the stock. There are several minor contusions, scrapes & scratches to the original finish. The original metal finish has aged & toned to an even plum brown patina, with 80% coverage on the barrel & a full coverage of the same toned but thin finish on the receiver. Bore is excellent. The rifle is fitted with a Marble flip-up tang sight, while the barrel holds a Lyman folding two leaf rear sight & a Lyman half-moon ivory bead blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate.Smooth tight action. Comes with a Cody Winchester Factory Records look-up sheet, which confirms dates & configuration. A very nice original example,nicely configured, with unique features & special order upgraded sight package. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3500 to 5000
