Winchester, Model 1894, CAL: 30 WCF, MFG: 1902, SN: 144473, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Half Octagon/Half Round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stock & forend are excellent. There are a few scratches, scrapes & dings. There is a single larger contuaion on the right side of the stock. The original finish is present, but with heavy flaking or thinning on the stock & normal thinning wear to the forend. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & tube rates 97%. The receiver rates 60%, with areas worn to gun metal gray. The receiver & hammer are case-hardened, retaining visible, but faint case-colors. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel holds a 3-tier folding leaf rear sight, but leafs 1 & 2 on the rear sight are broken. The barrel also carries a half moon front sight, with ivory bead. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Comes with a copy of a Cody Winchester Factory Records Letter, confirming the configuration & date of this rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
