Remington, Model 700, CAL: 30-06, MFG: Late 1977, SN: 295583, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock appear good, however there are 4'' stress cracks on both sides of the belly of the stock infront of the trigger guard. The stock remains solid. The are several small scuffs & minor dings to the original high gloss finish. The rifle comes with an extra Remington black synthetic stock, which is in excellent condition, with Remington solid recoil pad & sling studs. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 80%, 90% toning plum on the receiver. Bore is very good. The receiver holds a couple of scope blocks from a previous scope mounting, while the barrel is tapped with factory sight provisions for front & rear sights. Stock carries a Remington checkered metal buttplate. Sling studs. FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
