Remington, Model 742 Woodsmaster, 30-06 SPRG. Cal., MFG. 1972, SN: 7226365, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' round barrel, The factory basket weave checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good, solid & original. They carry several minor scuffs, handling marks & contusions to the factory finish. The factory metal blue finish has worn off to mostly a gun metal gray, with a thin layer of brown patina & some remains of original blue. Ramp adjusting rear sight & ramped brass blade front sight. Receiver has been factory tapped for potential scope mounting, a scope was previously mounted. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a White Line ventilated kickpad. 13 1/4'' LOP over pad. Sling swivel provisions. A popular caliber semi-auto hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 450
